This virtual event consisted of two free-to-attend Virtual Conferences, exploring the ways that Australia’s local government sector is bringing sustainable principles into the way their cities, towns and communities operate.
Over the course of the two conferences, we explored the concept of the sustainable city, looking at the different pillars of sustainability and how these are applied in a local government context. We also took a closer look at some of Australia’s most sustainable cities, diving deep into where and how they are excelling in achieving sustainability objectives.

Exposure to information on a range of leading practice Smart Cities projects (particularly of relevance to the Local Government context). The fact the conference was free and virtual allowed me to attend - if it was not virtual and/or free, it is likely I would not have been able to access it.
Great MC/facilitator, really interesting speakers who gave succinct and engaging presentations, good panel discussion at the end, with interesting panellists. Overall, enjoyed the whole conference. The virtual format made it more accessible to me.
The speakers were very engaging and presented relevant data and information.
Great to be able to get the differing perspectives out despite the locked-down environment.
